TeAcHeR's ObJeCtIvE

I also want you to blog about what you think MY objectives were for this lesson. What do you think I wanted you to learn about as a result? What is the best assessment to see if you learned it?

I think the teacher's objective was to allow the students to interact with one another to leaarn about their books they wanted to. I think that the teacher wanted the students to learn how to teach students and to pick out important information. I think that the best assessment would be a project that shows how well the student read to book and how much they learned from other students teaching them.

Your first blog post should be a response to your group project. Discuss what went well, what you learned, what should be improved. I will be looking at these to see how carefully and fully you reflect on the full experience as well as things I should change for next year (and possibly your next assignment).

Since there were only two people in my group it gave us an advantage and a disadvantage. Some time the disscusions would be short because there wasn't a lot of different ideas, but over all the discussions that we had in the group was productive. I felt that creating tests and assignments for the student was hard. I also learned that when thought that I created a cool lesson plan, it may not seem so with the student. I also realized that some of the things in the lesson plan that I thought was interesting was not as interseting to the student. Not having a lot of members in the group made it easier to learn and it was a one-on-one. Creating lesson plans ahead of time was sort of hard because there were some things that didn't work in the other plans would have to change for the others. I tried as hard as i could to understand what i was teaching, but even then, I couldn't answer someof the student's questions.
